Exercise buddy thread 001

I want to do a combination of walking mostly and running, with the weekend here it will be a good time to start, kinda procrastinating and overthinking but it would be good for me, I used to walk and then once I get to my street I’d run with my dog in a race until I get to my house

Walked for an hour and a half, struggled for the last bit because of exhaustion, but made it. I’m still sick as hell. Must have come down with something at the same time I got vaxxed as it’s whipping my tail.

Walked 1 mile today, my ankle is still bugging me. Hope to go on a run tomorrow or Sunday. I don’t want to make my ankle worse

Well I already injured my ankle from running 6 days in a row. I gotta take more rest days

Can you do a punching work out? There’s still some cardio but you’re not stressing your injury.

I definitely tip my hat to you. I know how difficult it is to push like you have been with cardiac issues.

The reason I push myself so hard is because of my cardiac issues. The harder I workout the better my heart gets stronger

God, I wish it worked that way for me. :frowning:

I’m doing what I can within safe limits to be as active as my cardiologist has instructed without going overboard. I can’t run, but I can walk and paddle a board or kayak on a lake or river. Do what you can, right?

We all start somewhere. When I first started trying to improve my health I was nearly 300 pounds and I could only swim laps for 10 minutes or do the recumbent bike for 10 minutes and then I would have to be done. When I started running I started by walking 2 minutes and jogging for 30 seconds. I just did those intervals over and over till now I can job a full mile in 13 minutes. Or I do 1 minute run/walk intervals for longer stretches now up to 8 miles

Had a body weight and weights workout… im sweaty and tired yay… took about an hour

I was born with the heart defect and it is causing it to wear itself prematurely. It is never getting better, I am just trying to control the rate it deteriorates at.

Found a new way for workout is going in cycle to work :muscle:

I think this is ok, i was doing little bits here and there, taking plenty of breaks and not over exerting myself, the hardest part was getting from the train station to the bnb with my luggage, i was surprised i did so much on Tuesday, Antwerp is beautiful & i had a lovely girl show me around (i felt safe & relaxed) which helps a lot.

I have an appointment with a Homeopathic clinic about fatigue when i get back, she had a cancellation and i was at the top of the waiting list.

1.5 hours of walking outside and I’ll get about 20 min of VR boxing.

Went swimming 5 out of 7 days last week

Have put on a kilo

Know it’s not much but it still bothers me

Feel a bit bloated as well

Have to stop my binging on bakery and sugary items

Guess I have been looking for a pick me up

Walked for an hour yesterday. Up a pound this morning despite doing everything right yesterday and am not amused.

2 miles on stationary bike :bike:. Tomorrow another 2 miles and 30min lifting session
