Exercise buddy thread 001

The idea is that someone posts how many minutes they were active and at what. The next person tries to match some or all of that activity. It doesn’t matter if you’re doing the same activity as the last person or the same intensity, just that you’re up and moving. It can be yoga, walking, running, cleaning house, weight-training, etc.

The idea is to support each other in exercising more.

@Rainstorm , some gyms have tvs attached to treadmills. It’s easy to walk longer while watching a show you’re interested in. Do you have access to gyms near you or a treadmill in your home?

@Rainstorm Oh, walking a mile is great!

My Medicare Advantage Plan covers free gym membership at select gyms in my area. It’s awesome!

I’m taking a walk in my neighborhood. Then, I will do a lot of walking at a Cider Mill with friends. Thanks for tagging me @shutterbug.

I’m leaving soon to go to the gym. I will do an easy workout because I’m recovering from a virus. I’m going to do 10 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training

Yesterday I fixed the faucet and repaired the stair lift my parents need to get up our stairs to their bedrooms and the shower. I worked for about 2 1\2 to 3 hours. I was exhausted as I had to get on my hands and knees and wrestle with the stair lift casing to change the batteries and clean the terminals. I felt like I used to after a 2hr bike ride. I went up and down our staircases to the second floor and basement like 20times.

I spoke too soon. I’m having stomach issues. Can’t go to the gym today. Ugh.

Why not try to start off with 15-minutes at first then increase the duration every successful walking session? That’s how I began. 45-minutes is nothing compared to 2-hours walking a 10km marathon.

I’m not up to exercising today but I hope to go running tomorrow morning before work. Hold me accountable to that, I am not the best at getting up early

This last year I’ve not been exercising regularly.

A woman said I don’t deserve to exercise because she hates me and wants to destroy me and then I just couldn’t get myself to exercise anymore.
They said I’m not allowed to exercise.

Very discouraged feeling.

I have to fight it!:crazy_face::yum:

Yesterday i managed to exercise for half a hour.
Thankful for the ladies on video I exercised to.

I used to exercise Atleast half a hour a day before.

No encouragement feelings.
Opposite.discouraging.

Nasty stuff happened.

Want to exercise today but haven’t managed to get myself to do it yet.
Doesn’t feel like I will but atleast i exercised yesterday.

Yesterday I did aerobics kinda.

I want to pump today.

See if I can do it.

Now!:slightly_smiling_face:

I also hope to start bush walking once a week.

A beautiful woman instructor Kate who I’m in no contact with and who I think is a lawyer now and not trainer anymore.
Thankfully I recorded her video with my phone before it was deleted.

So glad i finally exercised.:pray:t4::heart:

I was at the physio therapists last week. I need to exercise my back with a pilates ball. I don’t have a yoga mat. I need to buy one.

It’s great that you managed to exercise @SacredNeigh7.
