My son’s stepmom is like 400 pounds and she has cancer. I wonder.
But then again my uncle who was slightly overweight got cancer too. He has esophageal cancer and he never smoked or drank.

I have a beer belly but I can work outside hauling wood or whatever and keep up just fine.
And sure I could stand to lose weight but my cholesterol is great and my blood pressure is fine.
But I do wish I didn’t have crossed eyes. One girl called me downright ugly whereas my last boyfriend thought I was cute. He was a bear but a sweet bear.
There’s something to be said about the percentage of weight that is muscle too. Arnold Schwarzenegger was probably considered obese in his prime if you went solely based on bmi.
I want to lose weight as I am 285lb and get tired fast, my cardio is sh!t, out of breath just from using the stairs! My cardio was much better when I was 140lb, I outran a professional football player I knew.
I like good looking (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) proportional women, if they are a little smaller or a little bigger that is okay, I don’t expect unattainable levels of perfection, I’m not perfect, however I don’t find all these “body positivity” obese women attractive at all. To equate it to a women’s point of view it’s like a wimpy beta male that most women ignore, they are just not attractive. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, I’ve heard some men say they love big women, and seen some women settle for “nice guys”, to each their own.
However you feel about it from an attraction point of view, being obese is not healthy and comes with a much higher risk of all kinds of health problems. Promoting “body positivity” for obese people doesn’t make any sense from a medical point of view. These people shouldn’t beat themselves up for being overweight or ugly because that is self destructive but “body positivity” in these cases seems a bit delusional and just an attempt to try and make themselves feel better.
@Aziz - I can relate, I need to lose weight also. I’m 233 pounds at 5’6 in height. My BMI is way too high.
He was playing for the local team of my city, nothing big like national level.
I think it’s good for people not to have body dysmorphia, but fat is unhealthy and unattractive.
I’ve been between 100kg and 110kg for four years now, and I long to be 70 to 75kg.
Slim people are more successful, have better sex lives, and are usually happier.
Being fat ruins peoples lives.
The only way I would be happy with my current weight is if I moved to Japan to be a Sumo wrestler xD.
Being a fat guy is worse than it is for women.
Cos of man boobs. It can be emasculating. It was embarrasing for me as a kid, teen and adult.
Damn genetics. Not my fault millions of years of evolution makes me enjoy food, unlike skinny b*tches (no offence to anyone)
I have started weight training again though, plus I am eating more veg and less empty high glycemic carbs.
I think it’s not as bad for women being fat, but then again women ■■■■■ about each others physiques more than guys do.
I’m attracted to chubby women so long as they are not too big or masculine.
Sorry for the long post
Most of my weight was definitely from fat. But I had good blood pressure, good cholesterol, good bloodwork, etc. It was an improvement because all those things used to be far too low for me.
And @ThePickinSkunk I get self-conscious about my eyes too. They move pretty much independently from each other. I look out of one eye while the other just basically rolls around on its own. I mostly wear sunglasses about it. Most adults say they don’t notice, but it really freaks out kids, so I know the adults are polite liars.
I meant to tell you earlier that I used to date a guy with a “lazy eye”,
Sorry I don’t know the correct term for it.
I thought it was cute and endearing.
The correct term is strabismus.but it’s commonly called a lazy eye
Thank you!

I just call it my googly eyes
One thing I notice is women’s plus size body positivity is totally a thing but for men not so much. You don’t see super fat guys posing sexy and getting their photos up anywhere, at least not at the weight levels of some of these female models.
I think as long as your weight isn’t causing you medical problems, positivity can never be a bad thing. Some people are just genetically larger and owning that instead of fighting it in vain could be a good thing.
I prefer to be thin, took it for granted in my twenties now I’m a few pounds overweight. I need to seriously look at my diet but I love eating so much. I ate like a horse back when I was in my twenties weighing 130 lbs. It’s not my fault my metabolism slowed down!
We had a neighbor who was plus size and her husband met her on a bbw dating site or something, and when she would lose weight he’d get irritated lol.
This might be interesting to you
I think a lot of that has to do with porportionality. On a typical female plus size model, weight accumulates in the breasts, extremities, and hips, but even plus size female models tend to have smaller stomachs. On a typical male body, weight will accumulate in the belly first. Since society, even in body positivity culture, tries to shy away from belly fat, men get less spotlight. But if you want a boost in confidence, look up the term “dad bod” because it is a very highly praised body type.
I had three eye surgeries as a child. Once on both eyes at the same time so I was blind for a week.
Basically I have adapted to using one eye at a time. One for far and the other for near. My eyes suck.
Similar story here. It actually saved my bacon because after my brain surgery I developed a different type of strabismus and if I wasn’t already adapted to only using one eye at a time, I would have permanent double vision.
You know what I like about women and roads?
They’re both more fun to go fast on when they have lots of curves.
