Is fat beautiful?

I have a simple question is fat beautiful?

Not in excess.

Average amount is pretty attractive.

Anorexia is not beautiful either.

When I say beauty, I mean conducive to a long, healthy life, as much as can be determined by looks.

Again, this is subjective, so YMMV.

I am attracted to women with a little extra weight. So for me I would say yes as long as it’s not causing health problems, fat is beautiful.

Depends on who you ask. To most people, probably not, no. I personally don’t mind a little fat as long as you’re not obese or have all fat and no muscles.

Okay this one might hurt but it can heal… Happy is beautiful. Sad is to feel ugly. The rest… eh well put it this day, sometimes the most beautiful people, get less ugly each day.

Big can still be beautiful. Most of the women I have dated have been plus-size women. I don’t seek out any particular body type, but that is the way it has worked out. My ex-wife, for example, was a size 20/22, if I remember right. Back when I was in love with her she was beautiful to me, didn’t matter what other people thought. I was concerned about the type 2 diabetes that she had resulting from her obesity, but health problems like that were my only concern.

The last woman I dated was bigger than my ex-wife, but I liked her, so I didn’t care.

Confidence is the sexiest quality a person can have, imo. Having some confidence makes anyone more attractive.

In general being fat makes you invisible. When I was thin I got lots of “looks”. Then when I got fat that all stopped. I’m so invisible now even cctv cameras can’t pick me up.

Muscles are beautiful, fat isn’t beautiful.
The ideal body from my standpoint is to be muscular and without fat, and that goes for both genders.

Personality is key-- someone who is kind and funny and just so happens to be on the bigger side, definitely outweighs someone thinner who is lacking in those departments in more ways than one.

I can sometimes find personality attractive, but I could never be attracted to someone based on their personality if I wasn’t already attracted to their looks.

Yea, one shouldn’t necessarily compromise looks when finding a partner, but I would gladly be friends with someone regardless of their appearance if they had an awesome personality.

Personally, I’d say looks are a close second to sense of humor and kindness when looking for a potential partner. Physical attraction is important for sure, but they’ve got to have something to back it up with.

I think fat can be beautiful in a way but it’s apparently not healthy

Fat on me has a lot of drawbacks… I grow more hair cos of pcos and my face gets rounder I don’t like it too much

Yeah, I think we’re on opposite sides of a scale here. For me, humor and kindness is a dime a dozen unless they have the looks to “back it up with”.

Age eventually wipes out beauty. Better hope your mate has humour and kindness to fall back on once time takes away their attractiveness.

I don’t care even slightly about looks. I can only get attracted to someone if they have a good personality.

Now THAT is an interesting typo!
