What is everyone’s sleep schedule like? I can’t fall asleep till about 4am when the sun starts coming up and I wake up at 9/10am. I’m a very nocturnal. I rather do everything at night. I like to take night time strolls to the park by my house and I like to do my grocery shopping at night. I like to be out at night more than the day because there’s less people out so that means less human interactions. Is anyone else nocturnal?
I sleep from midnight to 9 or 10am. I was nocturnal when I was unmedicated and not drinking. I know what you mean, I would sleep from 7 or 8 am to like 4 or 5pm. This was during winter break when I was psychotic and not on meds. Then I drank every night and slept normally when school was back.
I sleep from about 10-11pm till 6am then from 6:30am to 10am, then sometimes from 10:30am to 1pm. Lots of sleep, its bad I know, but I can’t help it.
I don’t sleep much and the schedule is very chaotic.
Thanks for the reply. I am on meds but they don’t help me sleep and I don’t drink. My PDoc has given me many sleep aids but none have worked.
Thanks for the reply I can’t help I either. I always end up going to sleep at 4am even with sleep aids.
My sleep schedule is pretty ‘normal’ and at night.
I’m slow in the mornings. About 4 PM I begin to get active. I function and feel best when I go to sleep around 2 AM + get up around 10:30. I’m trying to 'normalize my sleep schedule, 'following advice to.
My sleep pattern changes from time to time. For the past couple of months I have been going to bed around 7:00 pm and getting up around 2:00 am. I tend to be nocturnal too.
My sleep schedules been consistently normal ever since I began to recover four years ago but it used to be all over the place, especially in my early 20’s it was all whacked out. I’d be going to bed as the sun was rising and waking up late afternoon and then a few months later it would flip to an opposite schedule.
These days I’m very rarely up past 11pm and always awake by 9:30 at the very latest. Of course I’ve got some down time at the moment and don’t really have a schedule to follow for now so it does vary a little.
I have a bad sleep schedule right now. I’m in bed by 11, but I don’t wake up until about 12. I sleep too much.
I sleep from around 4AM to 4PM usually. The time I go to bed isn’t a problem but the sleeping 10 to 14 hours is. I’ve forced myself to get up early before. However I just can’t do anything when I do that.
I have always been a night owl. One of my earliest childhood memories is my mom forcing me to go to bed at 9pm. It was in the summer and the sun was still out so I just had to stare at the ceiling for several hours. I was a night owl way long before the schizophrenia. My last job I worked until 2AM. I loved it. I just feel calmer at night.
I don’t feel awake until after 4 PM, just a fog like state that swirls me in unproductive circles. Lately, I’ve been going to bed when the sun comes up, and only sleeping for a few hours. Not good, but I’m on a time sensitive mission to complete a long over-due project.
I go to bed around 9 pm and then get up around 6 am to see my girlfriend off to work…tonight I slept from about 5 pm to 10 30 pm and will probably be up tonight until 2 or 3 a m…just depends on whether I have “anything to party on” which I do tonight…haha…
my sleep schedule is erratic at best. some days i’ll sleep all night till about 6am, other days, i’m up all night, then sleep all day, after i’ve taken max to school until it’s time to pick him up. xxx
I just woke up. It’s 1:30 am and I’m on the internet.
It’s 2:30am! Eastern Time Zone is the only real time zone (j/k)
I sleep between 11 pm to 9:30 am. It’s a bit too much. I would be very happy if I could wake up around 7:30 am.
