What do you think can cause schizophrenia

Sounds likely to me

If they ever make a genetic treatment that 100% fix sz biologically, I wonder if we will be able to be as good as before sz or maybe there is permanent irreversible brain damage? Thats the 1 million $ question.

for me: time travel and immortality and inventing things basically like bitcoin but probably not real like 1 in 7-8 billion.

I wonder if stress was eliminated would my schizophrenia be manageable without medication?

I think the Mayans invented it.

No it wont, its the sz that reduce our ability to handle stress.

At least that was my experience.

I haven’t been medicated since my current psychosis, and I believe it became more manageable because I removed stress factors. Namely getting myself out of a dangerous living situation, and into a safe one. It’s still there, and it’s still hell, but I started coping better.

I think my sz was caused by alcohol too. I only drank once a week but I got a huge high when drinking back then.

maybe not, it might be like a building breaking down if were continuing the analogy. taking the stress off will stop the building from breaking down further (thats one issue) and then there is the actual repair (The second issue). Yes removing stress will help you from getting deeper into psychosis. Will it fix the problem all together? idk. maybe the mental collapse causes a chemical imbalance that just needs to be corrected with medication (pharmaceutical or holistic).

but yea as we all know: " The likely causes of schizophrenia include genetic and environmental factors"

maybe schizophrenics are just born with fragile minds and stress causes a fall out (perhaps chemical imbalance), which needs to be corrected with medicine.
