The weight scale isn’t moving even though I am exercising 1.5-2 hours daily, plus taking Ozempic, and consuming 1000-1500 calories a day. What is wrong?
For how long are you doing all these. For me it took a month to start losing weight
For about 3-4 weeks. The weighing scale is immobile.
Might Saxenda be better than Ozempic?
I am doing exercise for about 3-4 weeks and controlling diet. But, I am taking Ozempic since almost 3 months now.
How much do you weight now? The less you weight the harder it is to lose weight as your metabolism is much slower. Low thyroid hormone also causes metabolism to slow down and gain weight
It is coming out 90 kgs. For a person who is 5 9 it is quite a bit of weight.
Maybe give it more time or eat not more than 1000 cal. If you still can’t maybe a Dr can help
I am realizing that Abilify has 13 kgs for me, and Amisulpride has 5 kgs for me. I used to be 72 kgs before medications.
How can a dr help when I am already on Ozempic? Saxenda might help?
Maybe he can diagnose a medical condition, there are many that cause weight gain
Dude, the last thing I want is another medical condition!!
I know what it is, it is called AP-induced weight gain. How much I hate these medications, believe me, and you want me on more!
Well not saying more AP, if you have low thyroid treating it will cause significant weight loss. Anyways I lost 55kg on 6mg risperidone so its possible, good luck
I figured I used to be on 72 kgs. With the Haldol/Abilify combination, I could go down to 85, but couldn’t lose anymore because of Abilify. Now, with Amisulpride/Abilify combination the low is 90. Therefore, Amisulpride is 5 kgs and Abilify is 13.
Wow, 55kgs is a lot of weight. How long did it take you to notice results and how long did it take you to lose that weight?
Started seeing results after a month, lost 55kg in 8-10 months, I was eating 1000-1200 cal and going to the gym 3 times a week. Now I stopped going to the gym and eating a bit more I gained 4kg
Wow, that is a lot of weight you lost. I ate virtually 800 calories today, exercised for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I didn’t see any results.
I feel like throwing the Ozempic in garbage, it is useless.
Ozempic is supposed to be stronger. FYI, I had a two-month-long plateau where I gained a bit and now I have lost 5 lbs in a week and I haven’t really changed anything I’m eating or doing. It might be a case of just being patient.
I didn’t take any weight loss med. Every body is different though, keep doing what you’re doing and hopefully you will eventually lose weight
I lost 3 kgs in the first 4 weeks on Ozempic, and then gained two kgs in the next 4 weeks on Ozempic. Then I have lost 2 kgs in the last one month, but the amount of exercising and dieting I am doing, plus Ozempic, 2 kgs is not justified. I am stuck on 90 kgs since the past one week at the least.
I am patient, but 1 mgs is a high dose of Ozempic, plus it gives me Acid Reflux at night, and caused all sorts of stomach issues. Yet, the results are not encouraging so far.
I think the abilify for me is worse than Risperidone is for you.
