Who use ozempic here and what IS your lose of weight please ?.
I use Saxenda, which has a similar mechanism of action.
It’s progressive and I’m happy with it.
I was on Ozempic but stopped losing weight
I’m now on Mounjaro and doing much better on it
I’m losing weight again albeit slowly
What IS your weight lose with them ?.
I have had a prescription for Ozempic for over three months now. The pharmacy I go to has not been able to fill out that prescription. They keep talking about limitrd quantities and being able to secure the medication because of low production. I am almost led to believe that there is some conspiracy with the processed food and fast food industries. Nestle, Nabisco, Pepsi, Coca-cola, they don’t want me (and a million other people) getting Ozempic, I swear.
On a more serious note, maybe I should try calling other pharmacies? Has anyone here had similar troubles or had trouble acquiring Ozempic?
Overall 15 to 20 pounds over a span of a year or so
If you’re in Canada…
They no longer give out Ozempic for diet pill use.
It’s being kept for diabetics
You’re not someone I’m willing to share specifics with. I’m losing weight and I’m happy with my progress. That’s what you get to know.
Keylow I’ll just say that 87.000 people are on long time treatment with Ozempic in Denmark . I found it unjust that there ain’t money to other patient groups with more severe illnesses like Schizophrenia.
Well the saved some good money on me.
Living independently no institution saved money
No Shrink saved money
No mental worker saved money
No social worker saved money
Cheap medication to 30 US dollars saved money
Have to pay meds and dentist by my own pocket because I’ve got money in a bank account. Saved money.
No hospital stay because I collect most of my meds. Saved money.
So if they don’t really like to help me than I hope that the state at least help the overweighted to at least get just as slim as me.
I started on Saxenda but am now on Mounjaro. I lost 125 lbs over 2 years with these meds. My doctor says that I am only 20 lbs away from my goal weight…he wants my BMI around 27 and then I can stop losing weight and start maintaining it.
I lost 40 pounds on metformin. Haven’t lost anything since quitting it. Probably gained back 3-4 pounds.
My cousin used ozempic and has lost over 140 pounds
My sister is also gonna try it because they flat out work.
Someone I know is on something similar and has been losing 3 lbs a week. But hers is for diabetes. In the US they’re cracking down on it and only giving it to diabetics
I lost tons of weight without any weight loss medication and i am on 6mg risperidone
Aziz you are a real fighter just like I am.
What do you do? Diet and exercise?
As long as I’m on clozapine I think my weight is very stubborn
Yes now i exercise less though, i still do intermittent fasting 20/4
Lol most days I only eat at night…so I fast most my days
That doesn’t seem to be working for me
Clozapine causes most weight gain, I read you’re switching to Vraylar which causes much less weight gain
Yes so my pdoc said
But first I gotta do a Holter test for 48 hours
To see if I have any arrhythmia…and to see my qt interval etc heart related stuff
Hoping all is good and I can make the transition ![]()

I’ve lost heaps on keto. Like 22kgs ( 48.4 lbs ) in 6 months or so with keto.
There’s new stuff coming out that works towards diet and exercise. Dr Chris Palmer does some work on it. Read the book and bought the Tshirt so I’m doing it and there seems to be something there about it.
Yeah taking the pill may work but diet and exercise do too and it’s interesting to me that symptoms seem to improve with certain diets for people.
Do your research. I’d love to take a pill and eat large again because a diet sucks but long term it may be a valid option.
