Wouldn’t you get ESA (Employment and Support Allowance) & PIP?

For ESA https://www.gov.uk/employment-support-allowance/how-to-claim You might need to speak to your GP about getting a medical certificate!

For PIP https://www.gov.uk/pip/how-to-claim You might get the CAB to help with the forms as it’s a hard and stressful process to navigate!

I lived off my parents until I was 38, then I got put on disability. I got it surprisingly easy. If you don’t feel like you’re up to working maybe you should apply for disability.

I wouldn’t feel too down about it. The labor force participation rate is dropping in the US. More and more people are living with their parents. I currently am while I look for a job. Got a phone interview next week but other than that it is kinda slim pickings. So take heart and keep trying.

Don’t qualify for disability. I’ve been working temp jobs since six months after my episode 7 years back. Yes I’m in the U.K.

I know how to fill out a form. I was already told I didn’t qualify but I tried my luck anyway. Citizens Advice are helpful but I really do not qualify if I am able to look after myself. The only help I need is money management and maybe even help with medication reminders but how do i need money to help with that.
