No disability , no job seekers basically living of my mum

Are you joking ? It’s hard to tell.

Unfortunately I’m not. I did believe this once but of course now I don’t. Every so often it occurrs to me that I thought this way though.

Do you get free prescriptions? Because you can on JSA & ESA!!!

They are also changing the rules on ESA, so the sooner you apply the better

On second thoughts I might bring this up on my appointment on Friday and ask if I qualify again. Might take my mum with me. To be honest, I just feel a bit ashamed of claiming . I can’t shake the feeling. Because my aunt already has been complaining she should get freedom pass if I can as she is less able than I am with her heart problems.

No I do not get free prescriptions but I did used to. My GP last told me I don’t qualify as on the form.

How did the appointment go?

i’m sorry @anon80629714, that stinks, my dad applied for over ten years for disability here in the states and he didn’t qualify. he gave up trying when was denied last year.

I did ask today but it’s not something I qualify for

Some people are anti/ideologically apposed to benefits!

Perhaps you should do a benefits check at the local CAB?

I get ESA, HB & (DSA as I’m a part time student)!

Dad did some voluntary work for a disabled charity he didn’t feel I could get it.

If I’m honest maybe the best thing for me is to not get benefits as it’s my main motivating factor to work

Even if you just get basic rate esa and get put on a work programme you’ll have some penny’s comming in.

Only 9 months to Christmas

i know my brother wants off ssi and he is trying to find gainful employment but he’s been looking for over 5 years. the only thing he got employment in was landscaping but only paid under the table.

lol don’t celebrate Christmas or any holiday for that matter. I don’t find it all that appealing the whole process
