I would suggest using the search function as I’ve posted on this repeatedly.
It doesn’t help everyone, but vraylar helped me with my negative and cognitive symptoms. I’m going to have to up it from 1.5 to 3 mg though as I feel my positive symptoms coming back a bit.
At the end of the day - everyone’s drug regime is different. What may work for you, may not work for someone else.
Roluperidone and Pimavanserin are in Phase 3 por negative symptoms. We must wait.
Nothing stopping a person from doing CBT now and improving now. If I had waited for a drug that had fixed things for me I would have lost thirty years of my life.
KarXT is good for negative symptoms. The problem is that some experience negative symptoms with conventional antipsychotics. And others experience them without taking the antipsychotic. For those of us who are sedated with conventional antipsychotics, it will be very beneficial. Since the action mechanism is different.
I didn’t get results with CBT. But each person is a world. The problem I have is that I do not respond to conventional antipsychotics due to the negative symptoms. I can’t tolerate them, I don’t know if it’s because my dopamine is very low. The only thing that keeps me hopeful is the muscarinic antipsychotics.
I didn’t for the first year, but I was desperate enough that I kept going.
Could not find. Give me a link
You forgot to say please.

Toughie. 30 years of fighting schizophrenia)))
There wasn’t a choice. Either you fight or you don’t have a life.
Are you from the USA or EU? I’m from Russia, there are several forums about schizophrenia in Russian, but I can’t create topics, I don’t know what’s going on, maybe everyone is busy with the war, so I decided to search on the English-language Internet
I am from Canada.
We do not sell many drugs that are sold in North America
The one I am on now (Vraylar) is new and quite expensive. I am lucky that my plan covers it.
Did it help alogia and disorganised thoughts?
Still completely numb here, emotionless for 12 years on antipsychotics, went off them for several months briefly and emotion came back but got a lot worse so me numbie forever more
