New med, Reagila

Hey there, my name is Angelo and i’m 23. I suffer of schizophrenia and i’m not doing Pretty well, However, today i will try my first dose of Reagila (vraylar, or cariprazine), will It help to calm me down and minimize the negative symptoms? Negative and cognitive symptoms are a really struggle to me, and I need to stay better. No positive symptoms here, except for Anger and agitation. However, i take haldol too, i think that It helps me but I don’t like its side effects.
So, what you think of Reagila? Could It be more “curative for me?”
Nice to meet you all and I hope in an answer.

Talk with your pdoc. The closest I’ve been to regalia is latuda. I hope you feel better.

For cognitive symptoms - we have risperidone and lurasidone. [1][2]

Negative symptoms are really hard to treat right now - no one med is guranteed to help you with negative symptoms. Research is still going on in this arena. I have heard amisulpride(solian) is good for negative but not sure. [3] [4] My pdoc gives prozac for negative symptoms.

I’ve tried Mutabon for negative symptoms but It didn’t help at all, It made me feel worse. However, I have a lot of hope for Cariprazine, It same to be a good med. I’ve tried Latuda but It did really little for my cognitive mood.

how did vraylar work out?
