They operated cleaned and stitched and metal plate and screws and she’s being checked all the time all night few days in recovery then a long journey back to walking again
She’s 75
God I will go back to bed soon
At the moment bottle of wine gone

I’m so sorry, that must have been horrible. Just remember, she is alive. She has a long road to recovery, but it’s possibl. Medicine has come a long way. Even if she doesn’t walk again, life in a wheelchair is still worth living. It will just be an adjustment.

A frame the doc said but I think a chair for a while

They gave her morphine and ketamine
She was in the resusc ward for hours before op
They have put a block in her leg nerve for the pain
Against my rules I contacted my father
He’s a real effing eff head
Do think I will regret it but god I don’t know
That’s horrible. I’m glad she survived. Hope you are able to cope with the stress. ((hugs)) to you.

My sister and separately my 9 months old kitten were both killed by cars
My family
She had this operation the same day
If they had been busy it could have been delayed following which the swelling would have to go down prior to the op
Could have been 5 days waiting for op
I’m so sorry that your mom was so badly injured. I hope she’s resting comfortably after the surgery.You should try and get some rest too.

Op went well
They are already starting to help her get back to normal
She has to sit cos lying bad for lungs etc
Her other foot is very badly bruised
Physio have told her to practice standing
Help not getting blood clots

My sister is now in with my mum
Mum is going to tell her everything that happened including being hit by a car And how completely horrific the breaks were
This is what I kept from my sister so that she could have a safe drive back from London
I know she will get it out of me what happened so I’ve said to mum to tell her absolutely everything
I hope she isn’t too angry my mum could have died and she would have missed seeing her I just couldn’t have a crush on the way as well
Claire driving without panicking was my priority
