I’m glad she is doing better. Did she have to go to the hospital?
yep. it was very very painful for her but she is recuperating nicely. she is on all kinds of pain killers and it is of course affecting her but I am hopeful she will pull out of it.

p.s. thanks for asking and for being happy for her. when my Dad died hardly anyone was there besides family to show they cared. family and neighbors and all the others chose to forget about her and us.
@ifeelblessed I’m sorry about your father. It doesn’t excuse it but sometimes people don’t know how to handle things so they ignore it instead. My first funeral was for my uncle. I felt really nervous at first when I saw my cousins standing next to his casket. I didn’t know what to say. It was a long time ago but if I remember correctly I just told a funny story about their dad and it made them smile. That is the funny thing about it. Most of the time people just want the truth, to be treated honestly and kindly, nothing elaborate or grandiose. Just a heartfelt word and to be treated like a person. But some don’t know what to say so they do the worst thing which is to say nothing.
I am happy she is okay. My neighbor broke her leg just before x-mas last year. She never recovered fully and now she is at hospital again because she can’t eat or drink and she is confused. She is 86 years old.
I wish your mother recovers quickly and was not too frightened by the fall.
Ifeelblessed,I hope that your mother will have full and speedy recovery
thanks for all your wonderful replies. my mom continues to improve. we’re even fighting (verbally only) already!!! lol!
