That’s great news! I could stand to lose about seventy pounds. I almost wish I would get kicked out of the program I’m in because I am eating so much. They’re killing me with kindness. It would be pretty hellish at first, but once I got my feet under me I would be okay.
Congrats. That’s amazing. Working on my weight too. Hope I can be successful too.
Well done @LilyoftheValley! That is really inspirational.
Proud of you @LilyoftheValley!!
So proud of you! It took huge willpower to reach such a point. Well done!
Thanks everyone!!!
What aps where you on before Haldol? That caused your weight gain
Congratulations! So you’ll be transferring from being on a diet to a new lifestyle.
Seroquel caused a lot. I’ve been on so many. I’d try one that enabled me to lose some weight and then I’d have to switch meds and the next med would cause weight gain. But the worst one for me was Seroquel
I want to lose 25 more pounds and then I’ll increase my daily calories to what will keep me at that weight. I plan to continue to exercise and I plan to continue counting calories as part of a new lifestyle
That’s awesome, congrats!
I’ve lost over 60lbs, I still have 10 lbs to go to reach my BMI weight, but I think I might be too thin at that weight. My doctor said for my height and build I am fine now.
Good job @Headspark! I know it’s not easy
Oh, that’s a good idea @LilyoftheValley to eat 1400 calories one day a week to boost the metabolism. Very clever! Thanks for the tip.
I hope it helps you @SkinnyMe
Schweet!
Good work. Kudos to you for sticking with it.
Great work. I’m jelly!
Good job @LilyoftheValley that’s huge especially being on a ap just started my diet last week hope I can stick with it
I hope it goes well. What are you doing for your diet @Thesickguy?
It’s really impressive that you’re able to stick to 1200 calories a day, especially while taking an antipsychotic. I also count calories and have lost about 50 pounds that way. Still have kind of a long way to go in terms of getting to a healthy weight.
If I get in good workouts I have to make sure to get in enough protein throughout the day or I’m starving. But I’ve been good about that so it’s working for me. Good luck and good job! 50 pounds is a lot @HitandMiss!
