I have 4 risperdal pills left. I always stressout when I almost run out of meds. I need to order more risperdal pills tomorrow, they will probably arrive after tomorrow.
I have no idea. A lot. I always have an excess because I end up having a pdoc appointment before I run out and they order more. I told my pdoc last appointment that I had an excess and she said they would note that I would call and have it filled “as needed” instead of them just filling it this time.
Your pdoc order your meds? You take your meds from him/her?
My pharmacy auto-orders and fills for me. They always text me to pick up more when I’m within a week of running out of something.
No, I don’t get them from my pdoc but she sends the pharmacy my prescription and usually they just fill it as soon as they get it. And it often is before I need more, hence the buildup of pills.
I have a massive supply of meds.
Some though I can only order once there is a week or two left to go
Here they won’t give you more than 30 pills/month. I asked the pharmacy to give me more and they refused.
Mine always gave me so many. Like 3 to 6 months worth of pills lol. The last one I got 360 propranolol pills
I don’t have my pills at home. I got a nursing service coming twice per day to give me my meds. I have them coming since 2017. And my GP said, when I asked him that I will take the pills on my own, no.
i have a stash always… never run out =D
I don’t take pills anymore I take fluid
There I can dose more percisely
But I still have 100-300 pills left over so for 1/2 year.
My pdoc puts in refills for my meds and I usually order the refill when I have between 2-5 pills left depending on if I remember or not. With clozapine it’s a different story. They changed the protocol here so every time I need a refill for clozapine my pdoc has to send in a new prescription and it’s hard to get a hold of him so I usually don’t get my refill until I’m completely out
Yea my Dr told me Clozapine is like a controlled substance, needs lots of paperwork and tests to get it. She said its a complicated process to switch to Clozapine.
I just ordered new meds. They should be here in a few hrs.
ah that’s great @Aziz
I tried to change to Clozapine back in 1990. I almost died. I was blacked out for a few weeks and living and breathing as if I were awake and conscious. This experience made me respectful of medication.
I have been getting free Latuda from the health workers since 2013. The Nurse practitioner says to hold onto any extra which I do. I have two boxes of 60’s and a box of 80’s. More too!
it’s good to have a few
i personally worry about supply breakdown or in fact breakdown of society
it’s not even unlikely
i’m lucky i get them delivered but they seem to give me 28 days every 3 weeks
not going to argue
My pdoc is behind the ball this month, apparently.
Got like, two lil’ 20mg Abilifys left.
…Luckily, I should have a few 10mgs laying around somewhere.
Pharmacy screwed up my refill this month because I switched to automatic payment and the system had bugs. Now I’m back on regular payment but I still get automatic refills through the app. Now that I’m doing my own injections (just did it 5 mins ago) and have the automatic refill its actually a joy to have sz.
I think they made a mistake in the clozapine order that I just got. I usually get 20 pills and this bottle has 75 pills. I think they’re only supposed to give me the weeks supply that they have tested my blood for.
