I can't get a refill on clozaril

My pdoc sent a 6 month supply to the wrong insurance meanwhile I thought he was sending the Rx to my pharmacy

Evidently the pharmacy has been filling out dated clozaril Rxs. So now the pharmacy is requiring my pdoc to send them a 28 day Rx to them. So far I’m not getting anywhere. I’ve got 14 days left and I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to explain this over my pdoc’s voicemail. I’d rather sit down and talk to him. But my appointment isn’t till October 19

I haven’t been taking the full dose for fear of running out

you gotta get in touch with ur pdoc…use the voice mail

Yes. Bug your pdoc. Tell your caseworker too. Don’t run out.

I’ve called him several times. I don’t know what he’s doing. He’s very busy and such a good guy. I don’t want to bug him to death.

Usually the pharmacy will call the doctor for you. If you’re not having any luck getting ahold of the doctor in your own, maybe talk to the pharmacist and see if they’ll call for the new script.

No they just transfer me to his voicemail. I’m really worried and I’m not taking my full dose bc I’m trying to stretch it out. My pdoc appointment isn’t till the 19th of October and I’ve only got a 14 day supply

I may have to go to the ER

He accidentally sent a 6 month Rx to the wrong place and evidently I think I’ve been maintaining on old scripts without knowing it

Can’t you call the place he sent the script to and ask them to fax it over to the right location?

I called the old place. They said that the Rxs are no longer valid and the doc would have to prescribe a new Rx. I have the worst ■■■■■■■ luck

No. It’s ok. Thanks. Just called the pharmacy. I got my refill.
