I never cared for snakes as a pet. Some people love to have snakes around their abode, but not me. I usually leave snakes alone if they leave me alone. They’re not cuddly animals, but I can tolerate them.
In my travels of life. I have made a lot of snakes. Not just reptiles do. But the slithering Kind. on the ground. Have a purpose and balance in nature. As a snake may approach you only if it has a nest around. Most generally confronted it will run off. Some snakes are very dangerous. I call them high risk category. Those are the ones that I like to think I’d put to death. Let me? Have. Your low end snakes? It is the bugs and keeps a population of those past down. And then you have to snake across the street. Who’s too Timing. On her husband.
We don’t have snakes here in Flanders and I’m happy about it!
As a teenager, i was scared by snakes.
Now i don’t care at all.
I also feel like a blessing the encounter with one
outside in nature
I’ve seen some snakes abroad in nature though.
I remember in Singapore one came out of a . And in Taman Negara I saw one just above me in a tree.
They are special creatures.
Afraid of snakes.
Even harmless ones.
I’ve considered getting a snake as a pet I thought about getting a large reptile as well like an iguana
I had a pet snake as a teenager, a little green thing. Now a days i dont mind snakes. The small black and green ones are fine and ill pick them up to move them out of my yard. But bigger snakes scare me and i leave them alone.
My grandfather had stock pond on his farm that was over run with snakes. One time I took his double barrel shotgun down there and blew a few of them away. They say that the stock ponds you see on farms are a real magnet for snakes.
Shiver! shiver! shiver! eek!!
Snakes only live where they have food. The choice is vermin like rats that will move into your house or snakes around from time to time. I’ll take the occasional snake.
I feel nothing about them really. We do not have them here. Not really. So I’m neither scared, nor attracted.
When walking in Lao forest a somewhat large one (2 meters or so???) crossed our path. Literally. It slid by just in front of me. I was not scared. If there would really come into my house or so, I would.
I like to pick them up and show them to the kids. We have one that hangs out around the shed at qork, so I have to wrangle it out when we are getting summer toys out.
we have only several types of snakes here in Lithuania,
and only one is a bit, yeah just a bit poisonous.
So overall I am not afraid of snakes
I’m petrified of snake’s, I even am afraid they’ll come out of the toilet. I once had to tell my therapist that I was afraid to go to bed at night because I was afraid of snake’s in my house.
There aren’t any serious sneks in my country, so I don’t know
I’m afraid of them. I don’t know which ones are poisonous so that scares me. And the boa constrictors creep me out. I do not want to be crushed. Awful!
If I knew it was harmless then I would be fine to be near them. However I don’t trust any snake to be harmless. Though if I was near one, I’d hope it was!
I love sssssnakes!
I don’t like the poisonous kind though.
Some day I would like a corn snek.
I love snakes! I have a corn snake named Inferno. He’s very sweet.
My favorite animal to see at the local aquarium is an anaconda. There used to be a full grown green anaconda named Peaches. She died of old age, though, a little over a year ago. I miss her. This is her:
But the aquarium recently acquired a baby yellow anaconda! I don’t have a picture of them, but they are pretty young, judging by size. Here’s a picture from Google of an adult yellow anaconda.
