Feeling better

Iā€™m actually a big believer in meds. I take meds every day. Iā€™ve been on many different ones over the years. The main concern I have with your situation is that I feel you are expecting this drug to take care of all your negative symptoms. You are saying that your doctor wonā€™t put you on the medication that you want so it is his fault if you end up in bed for the rest of your life. That is concerning to me. My meds gave me the ability to control my negative symptoms, but I still had to force myself to get up and get my life going. I hope it gives you what you are looking for, but I guess my question for you is what is going to happen if it doesnā€™t treat everything you want it to? Are you going to work on yourself, too?

I believe it will because on Abilify I was able to force myself to do stuff but now on Risperdal I canā€™t even force myself to get out of bed. Sorry for tagging you too much I havent eaten yet since I woke up at 7AM and now its 5PM. I get irritable when hungry.

You should get something to eat. Itā€™s bad to go so long without eating. I donā€™t think you are being irritable with me at all. Iā€™m not arguing you should be on meds that donā€™t work for you. Definitely donā€™t take meds that will make you feel worse.

Yeah, Risperdal can be brutal.
I suffer with intense negative symptoms mainly caused by risperidone.
I am basically a vegetable.
