I am refusing the Rexulti the pdr is offering. He doesn’t know the hell I was in because of Abilify. I don’t want my personality to be worse. I will take Zyprexa for the mean time that Vraylar comes out by end of this year. It shouldn’t cause weight gain or metabolic issues if only taken for 2-3 months. I already gained weight now on Risperdal so I don’t mind gaining a couple of pounds. I had slightly less negative symptoms and slightly more energy on Zyprexa in the past.

I gained 100lb by switching from Abilify to Risperdal.
I gained 170lb total since starting antipsychotics.

If I could lose 100 pounds I would be a little over my ideal weight. I’m 5’2” and weigh 247 last time I checked

Me too! I hate it and I can’t get below 230lbs even with dieting.

If I weighed 147 my BMI would be 26.9 which would put me a little overweight. I’d be ok with that

I’ve gained 50 lbs on antipsychotics. I wish I could lose weight. I’m now taking magnesium to help with weight loss, it’s supposed to help.

My doctor told me to watch what I eat. I replied…but doctor, I never close my eyes when I eat!

If the pdr doesn’t want to prescribe Zyprexa because it gave me liver problems before I will just wait 1-2 months for Vraylar. Last time he said he’s ok with Vraylar.

Its my liver enzymes and cholesterol that were high on Zyprexa.
