Exercise and Weight Loss Group

Did a bunch of stuff today, 25 pound dumbbells, cardio bike short time warmup. But the highlight was that a month ago I could do 2 full bodyweight dips.

Today did 9.

Got a pretty meh training session.

3x5 overhead press 3x5 pull ups and I couldn’t finish my deadlift’s second set, so I called it a day.

Prob I’m going to jog tomorrow 20 minutes.

Been following a mobility routine for two days in a row now. I feel pretty stiff and old.

Yeap bw exercises are not easy when we have a few (or a lot of) pounds (or kilos) to shred.

I’m not sure. I avoid that machine like the plague haha :rofl: I hate those leg extensions and contraction machines. They make my knees feel weird. I usually just stick to the leg press machine. I can do 500 on that but with leg extensions I’m a big baby :stuck_out_tongue:

Im running early in the morning every day. Around 4 kms i think. Really enjoying it. I wake up at like 5 or 6am, have a coffee and just go out and jog. Got the earbud for musical encouragement. I sometimes end up timing it so that the sunrise happens as im jogging which is nice.
I initially lost about 18kgs from the jogging over the last few months. Which has slowed down now. If i take care of my diet again I’d still be further shedding weight. But oh well. I feel great. My endurance has improved hecticly. So good for my mind!

I’m terrible at leg extensions too @ThePoet . It’s a terrible weakness of mine.

In re thd leg curls machine to strengthen your hamstrings, you need to get the settings just right plus my husband says to slightly turn your feet out. I’m not explaining it well but doing it that way my knees are fine. Maybe watch some videos? But be careful whom you trust.

Went for a jog at park with Mom and sister yesterday, my favorite of the two sisters lol.

I was ahead of her whole time but she outdistanced me by a smidge.

I’m going for shredded now. It is really hard, mood is low, the training is hard but it can be done.

I should go to the gym today, but I’m not feeling it. It’s sad because I lost about 3 to 4 kilos in the last month and a half.

The longer you take a break, the more difficult it is to recover.

I’ve been procastinating my 3x week to 2x…

Haven’t been working out much lately cause I been focusing on music but getting back into it now. Did some jogging today and a bit of weights.

Nice poet, I went jogging with sister otherday. I’ve been jogging much more than usual. By then end of it, felt almost like my foot was broken haha.

Had a nutrigrain bar, rice crispy, jesmin rice and lifted a bunch. Back/chest with dumbbells. Did a 25 pound lateral raise.

feeling accomplished, did a cardio for overweight workout with weights… first workout since the big hike 5 days ago, happy to be back on track. now i need to address my diet!

Been about three hours since I got back from Gym. Feeling nice and calm - the best part of fitness for me. I checked my blood pressure the other day at my parents place and it has gone down the way the nurse said it would. Pleased with that.
