I stretch all the time. Gotta reach the cookies on the top shelf.
I used to stretch but it didn’t do anything for me. I was still stiff as a board.
i try to stretch 5 minutes a day

Back when I was in my early 20’s I stretched a lot, to no avail. I wanted to loosen up my legs, but they would not loosen up. I think some of the things I did when I was young made me permanently inflexible. Back then I never stretched before running, and I did some exercises that I think hurt my flexibility.
I do when the TV remote has gotten out of reach.
I don’t do series of stretches like yoga.
But I do little stretches in the morning and during the day. Like cats do. It relaxes me.
I need to do stretches. I was doing some earlier. But to add some exercise to the mix is good. Maybe 20 mins of stretches or some sort will help improve health.

Hoping to develop some real flexibility over the next few months by doing yoga everyday!
My sister did a yoga teacher training course and now teaches every now and then.
Plenty of people do that if they are passionate about yoga and want to take it to the next level.
I am just a newbie really. Still stretching out those muscles. I barely know the names of the positions. I do love it though. Long way to go to consider anything else.
I did a year of yoga when I was living in Asia. My favorite pose was ‘the cobra’. I liked how it felt in my lower spine.
After a long warrior or plank pose moving to cobra is sweet, I agree.
Why don’t you do it anymore?
I just feel tired very easily when doing yoga and just gave up on it.
Before playing cricket I’ll stretch. I pulled a couple of hamstrings one winter in the cold so learned my lesson. Nothing overboard but get the body a bit loose.
I simply cannot do this pose anymore, bow pose. I’m too old and stiff now.
