I stretch the truth
Iāve been doing yoga for the last 18 years. Iām pretty flexible for an old coot, as a result. Nevertheless there are some poses I either canāt or wonāt do anymore. For example bow pose and headstand.
Iām 63 years old. But, I can do some poses that most 25 year olds wouldnāt dare try.

I did yoga every morning without missing but a day or two a month and severely damaged my body. The problem was I taught myself using a book. I should have had a teacher.
Today I walked a fairly long distance and it stretched me out good. I canāt stress the importance of exercising too much!
Is that you wave? Did you change your name?
Yes @FreeLunch its me, Wave

Seems that learning yoga from youtube can be problematicā¦
Every now and than I do some sun salutation. Thatās about all I do. I used to be a bit into yoga, not anymore
I started doing yoga 18 years ago and taught myself from videos, magazines and books. Iāve only taken a very few classes over the years. In all this time, I have never seriously injured myself doing yoga. But, in all fairness, I have the serious advantage of 4 years of university nursing education to assist me.
I would highly recommend anyone who would embark upon yoga as an exercise regimen, to enroll in a good yoga school with certified teachers.
I did just a tiny bit of yoga position today. Stretching is so important, but takes some will to do it while on ap or if one did not practice it for a good while.
How often do you put it practice @SkinnyMe ?
I donāt stretch much. Iād like to start doing yoga again to become flexible. Iād like to be able to bend down and touch my toes again one day. Itās been a long while since Iāve been able to do that
I combine yoga with a walking practice combined with a body weight based strength training program. So I end up doing yoga about twice a week.
