I should at least make a little more effort at dieting than I have been. It has been half hearted at best. I’m not sure how much I want to commit to this and the smoking cessation at the same time, but I am willing to kick it up a notch, I guess.
How would you like to begin a dieting regime. Are you one to count calories, just cut back, add exercise or do intermittent fasting?
Well, I have already reduced snacking and it doesnt seem to be doing much so I guess make an effort to cut back a little more and exercise. I’m not really one for counting calories. I’ve done fasting before and that sounds too extreme for me at the current time.
Im going to go weigh myself and start with that for later reference.
Sounds good. My starting weight with the Dieing Buddies is 266.8lbs. I want to get down to 150lbs.

How often do you weigh yourself when you are trying diet? I am thinking once a week should be good? What about you?
I would be happy with the 180 to 190 range.
I was weighing myself a bit erratically, but like every other day. IDK though.
My doctor told me not to get on the scale daily because your weight fluctuates daily.
Hmmm…I don’t know, I’ve seen the opposite of that advice on the internet, but yes it definitely fluctuates. A week is fine with me. Every Saturday then?
My goal this week is to lose 3 pounds. I am doing 20:4 Intermittent fasting.
