I just restarted my diet of no fast food, no candy or sweets, no soda or sugary beverages.
Did you want to say what method of dieting that you are going with so we can encourage your endeavor or are you wanting to stay private on that?
Sure I plan to eat 1200 calories per day, and continue to exercise for an hour a day 5 days per week.

Have you done research into intermittent fasting and the concept of not deny but delay? There is also counting calories, counting carbs, just increasing exercise, combo of your own choosing.
Yeah I have been doing intermitent fasting for years now. But it doesn“t work if you eat over your daily maintenance, so you need to substract here and there if you going to introduce something new in your diet.
Counting carbs is pointless imo. Counting calories is the key. Exercise is a good addition, which i“m going to do.
Diabetes is complicating my efforts. With all the blood sugar meds Iām on , I found my blood sugar low this morning, so even though I planned on having very little for breakfast, I found that I had to eat a sandwich and a few chips in order to take my diabetes meds with my lower blood sugar and still keep it from going too low. I wonder if I should just skip diabetes meds in morning and not have breakfast some days .
Iām basically forced to eat something if my blood sugar is relatively low and I do take meds.
Iām on the 16:8 Intermittent Fasting diet, and I have lost eight lbs since September 18th. I was 263 this morning. When not fasting Iām eating 1500 calories.
Congrats on the weight loss @anon54988740 . I would be quite satisfied with weight loss at that pace myself. 8 pounds in 2 weeks or so is pretty damn good weight loss.
