I was reading that it started going human to human transmission, China confirmed it. Theyre also worried about it being Chinese new year and everyone traveling, so they started screening people at the airports.

Heres a comic about SARS and how they made it a huge scare back then.

Im on the fence about it all, on one hand the book world war z started in China because China couldnt control the virus. Also the movie Contagion was about some wildlife that started it.

On the other hand, im like naw, no reason to panic like before when they did SARS. Tho we had the same problem before, China was under reporting the results and caused people to speculate too much.

Im not overly worried, still neat tho. Ive been studying microbiology on youtube. Its fun.

This isn’t going to be a bubonic plague, since it’s based on SARS, which had a fatality rate of 14-15%. Bubonic Plague had a fatality rate of 50-100%.

Still huge though.

We have our first suspected case in Brisbane. Person is isolated but it’s not unusual for things to travel fast these days.

So far the mortality rate is around three percent if accurate numbers are being reported.

There’s about 24 cases in my country. Also the whistleblower of the coronavirus just died a few days ago. May he rest in peace…

Theres a video of them putting people into a giant steel cube from off the street for quarantine. When should i be alarmed? Because it seems strange that they built an entire hospital in 8 days just for this flu.

Theres 4 suspected cases in my province atm. I dont think itll get bad tho

There’s a cruise ship with at least 244 people infected with the cornoavirus inside it. Yikes!!
