God is a concept foreign to me, however I know there is much more than what we experience here on earth. For starters, we are much too conscious as individuals to simply be organisms that live and rot. It feels like an insult to life, because that’s not what’s happening. Not to mention personal out of body experiences…
I needed to get clean and sober. I joined AA, CA, and NA and found out that they could help me. I went to meetings for three years and I always heard about a “higher power” who gives strength and helps people stay clean and sober. I did not work the 12 steps for the first three years in the programs and I did not believe in any higher power. It sounded hokey to me and they sounded like little children when the alcoholics and addicts talked about turning over their problems and will to a higher power. They told me i could make my higher power into what I wanted.
So “there’s no atheists in foxholes”. And “necessity is the mother of invention”.
I gently and gradually and slowly started forming in my mind a Higher Power (or as many people call it, God) that meant something to ME. MY idea is that it is something in the universe that is greater and has more power than me. I don’t sit around thinking about it all day. But I pray at night to it. And now, 24 years later, I am still clean and sober.

God is real. He created you, and he loves you greatly. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, and you will know he is Lord.
Then say to jesus, I die to thee, for more of thee. Ask him in your heart to be reborn. Say a prayer.
Watch “Long Island medium” it has really helped me.
belief in god or higher power helps give you strength when you have nothing left. It helps bring hope.
i dont believe 100% but when im really down or feeling weak i will turn to it , and it does help.

I just wanted to say great job for being sober that long! been 2 months for me. It is a real struggle for me right now to not give in to going drinking. there is no such thing as a social drink for me it only ends in mayhem

For anything to exist there must be something that was always there, this is the eternal or spirit realm, it is the source of everything.
But the way it exists it could not have become anything else without consciousness making it happen. Because it is eternal it was always the way the it was and was thus unchanging, new things did not happen, nothing could have been mixed or set in motion without consciousness making it happen.
A and B could not have come together without someone making it so because it was/is eternal and unchanging. It is unchanging because it is eternal and always was the way it was.
However, im not just going to claim that he/she/it/or they aren’t total psychopaths or assholes. Because c’mon, earth right?! Who in the hell would make earth right?!
Oh yeah, one night i was outside on my brother’s balcony and i looked at the tree out there and it was a face. It was a very detailed face made of the tree, shadow, and light. So yes, there are higher intelligences around and it would appear they created the earth. But im not just going to claim they aren’t total assholes or anything.
It isn’t a hallucination either. It’s more like one of those 3d images where if you focus you can see it, but you focus the mind and not the eyes. When the mind focuses a certain way it just pops out at you, it’s like a hidden dimension in plane sight.

And oh yeah.
Resurrection is just a scientific process.
You can record people and then insert them into new bodies, thats all that is.
Just like these computers, you can take every last bit of information on them and put them on a brand new cpu. Same people but new bodies.
When I headed to God I became psychotic. I won’t do that again. Maybe we’ll have to wait till hereafter to clarify this. He exists but for szs he better not be taking much of our thoughts or we become sick. Thanks.

There is difference between humans and machines. Not everything work in the ways modern technology works. Most of the time, nature is inspiration for many inventions.
