Anyone tried sarcosine?

Can anyone tell about this drug good or bad? It seems kind of expensive to me.

My personal opinion is that amino acids are BS. I tried L-Tyrosine, an amino acid, it was BS. My opinion… I wouldn’t buy it…

Besides any feedback you may receive in your thread, @valleypenne asked a similar question in a thread.

Thanks for letting me know.

I would highly recommend sarcosine! Over the past few months it has nearly miraculously cured the negative symptoms of my schizophrenia with no side effects at all. I can smile and laugh for the first time in years and I have started to take pleasure in day to day activities for the first time in my life! I don’t know what to do with myself! There are only 2 or 3 sources of sarcosine in the world, the best one is probably a product called ProFrontal. You can order it from www.profrontal.com . It’s a combination of sarcosine and NAC (N-Aceytl-Cystine). It is expensive but it’s worth every penny. Sarcosine currently isn’t available from a psychiatrist so the only recourse is to buy it over the internet, The only sources are www.profrontal.com , www.smartpowders.com , and there is one more that I found a few days ago that I can’t seem to find again. The amino acid glycine has the same effect as sarcosine but you have to take absolutely massive amounts to get it to work (like 60g per day - you will probably throw up). Sarcosine will work at 2-3g per day. D-Serine will work too at 4-5g but it’s not as effective as sarcosine.

I tried it and its worked great for about a week a two. Some people benefit greatly from it. My symptoms are actually 50 more managable then they were a few years ago, and i think it is due to me growing older, my anti-depressant, and a good antispychotic, so I recommend those courses of action and also sarcosine for the negative symptoms. It has little side effects.

There is also health sources, but they send from China, the upside is it’s cheap, although the minimum is 1 kilo. Sorry, but profrontal sounds like a huge ripoff company, I’ve been using smart powders sarcosine for years and I’m doing fine. NAC you can get from lots of places much cheaper.

Anyone tried the sarcosine advertised on this site(Brain Vitaminz)? It’s a tiny bit cheaper than smart powders sarcosine and shipping is cheaper also, unless you’re willing to wait many weeks.

That’s actually not a real high price…there are some supplements, especially the pure organic stuff that actually can get into your system (as opposed to synthetic vitamins) that cost $30 and more for a 30 day supply…

Yes, I think this is just like a supplement. But it works well for students.

I’m on week 2 of 2gm/day. I’ve noticed increased motivation.

Am tempted to order but put off by shipping prices. Also when to order in advance to ensure continuity of taking it. If it was available in the UK in the health shops I’d be out getting some now.

I was, too, until I realized that they didn’t come close to what I spent on cigs and booze, and those were at the prices two decades back.

@shutterbug Where did you order yours from?

Someone’s told me about http://www.amazon.co.uk/E-Pharm-182g-Testforce-2-Powder/dp/B0041HW8DU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1414457790&sr=8-1&keywords=testforce

but it’s marketed as a testosterone elevator. I’m not interested in being more masculine.

BrainVitaminz. They normally ship promptly, but this last order is taking its sweet time getting here. Most annoying.

Hm. That has piqued my curiosity. Research needed.

I got mine shipped to bc . It took 7 days from brain vitaminz.
