What is your official state dish ? Do you like it?
Louisiana. Gumbo or sweet potatoes. I like them all but Jambalaya is my favorite.
Coney dogs love em
I’d love to try Gumbo and Jamblaya.
Like hot dogs? 15 char
Big fat hot hogs with chili, loose hamburger, mustard and onions on a steamed bun
I don’t wanna give away my exact state of residence, but in New England there’s a ton of foods that are best around here. I love English-style Fish and Chips, clam cakes, clam chowder, lobster, and the list goes on. Seafood is a theme here.
Jumbalaya (I don’t know the spelling, it varies) is great, lots of different ways it can be prepared.
I love seafood.
New England is best to visit during fall, during the turning of the leaves it gets really pretty around here.
If you ever wanna visit the states.
I wish I knew what my state side dish was. I googled it and got a lot of random stuff.
Lived in San Francisco from 1965 to 1968.
Colorado
Even though Colorado hasn’t declared any official state foods, and though it’s famous for its lamb, we think that steak would be a perfect nominee: Colorado is the 10th largest cattle producer in America. If you’re a pescatarian, on the other hand, take heart: the state’s official fish is the greenback cutthroat trout, so get ready to cook that up.
Probably barbeque. Ribs,brisket,etc
Corn, tomatoes, blueberries and our pizza is top notch!
New England boiled dinner! Sounds awful but it’s amazing! We have it on St. Patty’s Day, it’s very hard to beat corned beef.
My state food is watermelon. And the state drink is Kool Aid. We do grow really good watermelon here.
New Jersey is also famous for its Diners.
It’s the Diner Capital of the World!
I live in Florida, so what comes to mind are oranges, key lime pie, and stone crabs.
I’m in Idaho. Anything to do with potatoes. Yes, I like them a lot. They are cheap, fresh and delicious!
