oh I would say the eighties…haha I was rockabilly then when everyone else was all bangled out…haha
Yeah I spent my younger adult years during the eighties.
Leather jackets, parachute pants etc…
I wore a lot of men’s clothing, in highschool. Baggy and oversized. At the time, I was uncomfortable with being female and tried to hide my form. This was all because I was sexually abused by different people, starting at age 15. I wasn’t intentionally hiding my form, it was subconscious. I realized, later on, why I dressed that way.
But after about age 22, I started to heal and I now love being female and I even dress very feminine, most of the time.
I feel like I have seen this picture before on myspace lol
Used to wear a lot of baggy pants and oversized tshirts… because I was uncomfortable with my body. Refused to wear dresses and skirts… still don’t wear them much…
I mean, I did post this on MySpace LOL
@Human Omgsh I think we were friends on myspace lol
that would be crazy…
I did add random people then…
I just went to the MySpace website and tried finding my old account… apparently it doesn’t exist anymore >_< (my profile)
I added a lot of random people too… Myspace was great. I miss it…
I am pretty sure mine is gone too…
Another good one was Hi5…
Oh I never heard of that one!!
I don’t think it ever became as popular as myspace
A couple years after high school it was club time and I had myself a nice zoot suit for the occasions.
I remember parachute pants. They were really expensive too.
I was an emo kid.
Red and black plaid shirts, long armwarmers with stripes, long sleeved tops with shorter tops on the outside, etc
I went to school in bell bottom Levis, boots, and a long underwear top with a jean vest over it.
in the eighties I was rockabilly, so I still like the style, especially my black sharp toed boots…boot leg jeans, fifties haircut and got to cruise around in old fifties cars my friends had.
I was kinda a hippy in Brisbane in the 80’s/90’s We’d go to gigs with all the other kids so there were the punks, the goths…This was well before that whole grunge thing so jeans and band tshirts…I had long hair which was good for metal shows but I’d always butt heads at punk shows! It was a weird eclectic mix where you saw the same groups at the same concerts so my fashion was just comfortable.
