You don't need tons of money to be happy

I truly believe in this saying,
Having enough is enough
Ofc every person has its own understanding on what’s is “enough”
But I don’t crave on being rich
I am fully happy in having what I have. I just hope to have a stable job to own something.
To atleast have my own small house with little garden or a cozy flat.
I never understood why some people are ready to sell their souls for money.

These thoughts actually were born like 5 mins ago while helping my mom with our little garden

I was reading some research data on pew research website and it has some really crazy data about this… it said basically that wealthy people are more likely to have a better life in nearly every measure of well being.

At first I felt like poor people were doomed to not be as happy but like u said if you learn to be grateful for what u have and your happy with what u do with your life it really doesn’t matter. The bad part is …I don’t think many poor/middle class people are happy in that way tho

I don’t believe in such datas. (Not a conspiracy theorist) I just know that every data has different answers. No real answers in the internet.
It truly depends on a person what makes him happy.
Being poor is very hard - but I still don’t believe we need to be rich to be happy.

I totally agree coffee… but if I’m being real I wouldn’t turn it down!!!

You’re right, but a million dollars would be nice.:roll_eyes:

My father is pretty well off…… and he helps me financially, but I am still suffering. I still think it is a blessing to be wealthy. I am not sure how big of a blessing it is to be wealthy. It is at at least one of the top ten most blessings there is. For example, my father owns a beach condo…… and I enjoy going there. It depends on how poor and how wealthy you are. For example, if you can’t afford to eat enough…. then it is obvious. Even if you can afford to eat and pay the bills……I still think it is better to be well off. I am saying if you have money left over. I am not sure what it is like to be very wealthy….at least a million dollars a year. I think it continually makes you happy and makes you feel more successful if you are worth at least a million dollars every year. And you don’t have to worry about running out of money. If I had a choice It would be easy…. I would choose to be more wealthy. As long as I don’t let myself get conceited and exalt myself with being wealthy. That is why people get annoyed with wealthy people.

That’s truth Indeed. Being poor is one of the biggest hardships in life.
Still, in my opinion TONS of money are not needed.
But everyone has it’s own opinion

My father has tons of money and he didn’t sell his soul. He still lives for the basics in life. Food and shelter and health and relationships. He knows how to save money and make it grow. He still lives very comfortably as a middle class person. He is showing me how to be satisfied with life with the basics like having a house and a garden and a relationship. He is showing me it’s from responsibility and not envy. He is showing me a glamorous life is not what I need. I need responsibility and to be responsible. I need discipline And luxury is not a necessity. He is showing me the live a life of responsibility and not luxury.

There is better blessings than being very wealthy. Close relationships, having enough to do……job ect. Being happy and not having mental illnesses.

Very true!
Mostly I want to be super healthy. And happy.
I am glad that my physical health is great - but I would LOVE to have no need to take APs
And relationships… They truly fulfil our lives

I forgot about physical health. That is got to be a big blessing. I am not quite sure how big of a blessing it is. The more I think about it sex is a better blessing than being wealthy…… but you can get an attractive husband or a wife by being wealthy, just kidding.

Nice one!

Yeah I think money :moneybag: buys happiness because it equates to security

Security is kept from the majority of this worlds population

I have gone from growing up in poverty to living comfortably. By that I mean that I live in a nice place, have nice things, and there is still money left in the bank account at the end of the month that I can put into savings. I prefer how things are now. Not having enough food as a kid, living with the threat of eviction thanks to a parent always behind on rent, and watching all of your friends live better lives than you sucks.

Money is a necessity.

And owning a small house is still a huge asset, globally speaking. It sure is the norm for middle class in western world (14%)

It’s a big misinterpretation here happening.
I am not saying we don’t need money at all,
Just stating my opinion specifically about being wealthy

Wealth shouldn’t exist
If it didn’t then neither would poverty
