You could have knocked me over with a boa constricter

I’m going along at my apartment and I’ve been here about a month and a half now. Most of the people here are cool about half the time, the other half of the time? Well, they can be real asholes at times. One guy who I first saw at my old house down the street is the biggest ashole here. I won’t get into details but yep, he’s a jerk.

I’m only a lover and a fighter in my dreams, but if I died today, I could die happy knowing that at least I scared some of these street people here and the jailbirds and drug users here. But I am not sure if I’m going to like it here. It changes every day from hatred of this place to thinking, "Hey, there’s a lot of positive stuff here’. Sorry, I only meant to rant and be negative for one sentence but I ran on.So I caught myself being negative but now I will say the good news.

There’s one guy here about my age. I thought I was really pissing him off since I moved in and to tell you the truth, I thought I was pissing off most people here and that I was causing trouble. But about an hour ago, I went downstairs for breakfast and I passed this guy in the hall and greeted him but lately people have mistook my friendly face for being a mean face so I thought I made him mad. So I said to him,(because he’s in the main clique), I can’t tell if people here are mad at me or not. and he answered back sincerely, “No, people are happy with you”.

You could have knocked me over with a feather. Maybe this place ain’t so bad.

I struggle with not needing everyone to like me too, @77nick77. However, like you, I’ve been told I’m a very likable person. I leave a big impression!

Did you move from the group home to an apartment?

Hi turtle, I moved down the street into a similar group home that is owned and run by the same people. there’s no staff here most of the time which is a mixed blessing.
