Like I highly doubt anyone in this site wants to have schizophrenia. I don’t want to have schizoaffective disorder. I think the government should speed research on psychotic disorders. Where’s the research? Where’s the funding? Where are the new drugs? What about better therapies?
These illnesses are Inhumane, how about some type of psychosurgery to stop the paranoia, the psychotic breaks? How hard can it be? Damn I’m getting fed up with taking antipsychotics. I’m not even psychotic. But, now I’m reliant upon them to stay well. I know it’s not perfect for anyone but this ■■■■ is just rediculous
Because nobody cares about us. Until we get a celebrity or some ■■■■ that champions for us we’ll get ■■■■ all. They’d rather hide us away, medicate us, and forget we exist.

It is a real bummer that all they have to offer is meds with a fuck ton of side effects. I am paranoid all the time and no one can do shit about it. Today wasn’t as bad as some other days but I still have it. I hate to join the pity party but I have to agree it is a little ridiculous that we suffer like we do and the treatment hasn’t changed in decades. Bummer to say the least. I want a peaceful brain.
