My car just blew the radiator…
This has truly been the Volvo from hell.

This has truly been the Volvo from hell.
I have a license but I rarely drive.
We’ve been ordering groceries online.
My father mainly does the driving anyway.
İ don t own a car.i use my parents car.i go to my work with it.i don t want to buy car because its totally stupid to buy a car at turkey.you just give %450 tax to government.usually you can buy a decent german sedan car about 40000$ which is 9 years of earning of mine which is my earning is not so bad according to turkish standards.so i will buy second hand motorcycle if i had to.
Türkiyeli olduğunu unuttum
(I forgot that you were from Turkey)
thats fine @Loke .
Oh thank goodness you didn’t write a paragraph in Turkish. I use Google translator. I have an app on my phone but it only translates small portions of texts.
I’ve no driver’s license. I never had a car. I go on foot. Everything besides of legal guardian, depot and psychologist is near me. And I don’t need to take care for food.
I just drive to my pdr and my family Dr.
I can’t afford to pay for a car right now but that’s ok, I’m walking distance to everything I need…
i dont have a car and i cant drive verything is so close here i take a taxi or subway.
In the 1990s when I lived in America I had Volvo too (Volvo 240 DL) and it always had radiator problems.
I had a plain Volvo 240. It was the best car I ever had, very little need for repairs, although it did use relatively much gas. I guess they are veteran cars now. Last one was made in 93 or 94.
Too bad you had trouble with yours.
Volvo 240 DL was okay (it was nearly 10 years old when I purchased it) , I drove it from 1992 to 1998, six years after which I got Mazda 626. I lived over two years in my Mazda 626 in America (2000-2002) and when I returned back to Europe I brought this Mazda with me together with all my other things such as one PC, clothes and so on.
I don’t like cars. We should all use public transport.
Save the planet…
Or walk…
I need a car for my volunteering. Can use public transport but it’s double the journey in time and it’s so much better with my own ride.
I havn’t had a car for a few years but I just borrow my dads van when I need to go somewhere. Yeah like someone else in the thread said. When you only go somewhere every few days its not worth the insurance costs.
I tore both my calves walking to the gym everyday to lose all the weight I gained on meds no way could I do without a car.
I have my license, but no car.
I used to drive a lot in my twenties.
I don’t like driving now. Too stressful.
I live in a nice fairly urban area where everything is close by my apartment.
My mom helps me get to things far away like doctor’s appointments.
I don’t drive myself but there’s no viable public transportation in my area so I am pretty reliant on personal vehicles still, just with other people driving them, lol.
Ive been without a car for 20 years. Its not so bad. I guess im a rare one, as i dont even think about it much. I just take the bus to doc and walk for groceries.
