My current therapist and I, we’ve known each other for a while. At first I would have 45 minute sessions and not say a word to her, then I opened up to her, but I never told her about my traumas, I simply told her I had traumas. One day I said “I will tell you about my traumas if you’re willing to hear” but she didn’t seem willing to hear, because we have such an extensive relationship. Now I will be seeing a new therapist a month from now and I feel I can finally open up and process my traumas. Would be nice to get a professional opinion on them and be open about them. Thoughts?
I like to think there’s a difference between therapy and counseling.
