Winter Clothes, You Have Enough?

Were already getting snow and cold, I need to get a couple of hoodies and 2 pair of jeans. Money gets tight in the winter but I have to do it.

How about you, all set for winter? Is it cold where you are in the winter?

It’s cold here in the winter :snowflake:️. We don’t really get snow though until after January

I get most of my clothes from thrift stores. I have tons of clothes, because I hate doing laundry. I need enough to last me until I have the motivation to wash them. When I had a higher-paying job, I used to just go out and buy new clothes some weeks instead of washing my old clothes. I currently have two closets and two dressers filled, because I also hate throwing things out. I still wear things from 8th grade. My body hasn’t really changed since then.

I wash and dry my clothes. Then I throw them in a corner in my room

I scored a pair of jeans at the Salvation Army store last week. Winter clothing selection wasn’t any good, tho.

Yesterday, I filled a basket-sized contaner full of clean, long, thermal underwear.

Ready!

I have many clothes now thanks to my mother, who was out in the second hand shops and some regular shops too. But my clothes are mostly for now, that I am obese. Whatever, they are quite nice all  . Our winter has changed with the years, but in general it could be -15 C or warmer.

I don’t have enough winter clothes.
I’m pretty sure that they are in storage somewhere in my basement.
Going to look for them later.

I just got done buying four shirts, three yoga pants, two skinny jeans and one pair of ballet slipper shoes. My wife gave me a pair of her loafers that didn’t fit her. I already have street boots and hiking boots for the winter. I have lots of coats, sweaters, and I have a really good pair of black leather gloves. I also have a new winter knit cap. I think I am set.

Isn’t really very cold, but cold enough to need new clothes. In summer I’m only wearing summer dresses. I hardly have any winter clothes like trousers and sweaters, especially that are fancy enough to wear for business things. No money to buy them either. Not sure what to do. :frowning:

I rarely leave the house. When I do I just freeze to death. I don’t mind it too much until it gets down below 20 f

We’re just south of where you are I believe. Idaho. It’s not cold yet but it’s definitely cooling down. I need to get a few sweaters and jeans as well

Well I have too many clothes. Buying clothes is a hoppy of mine. What I spend my money on. Thrift stores are real good. I would suggest you look there first. But I don’t know if you have any by you. Does Canada have like Wal-Mart and target? I have no idea what stored you have up there.

We have Wal-mart, Target came in like a storm, then went bankrupt and left
