Has anyone tried either of these?
@Wave has tried both I think.
Yes thanks @everhopeful
I was on Ozempic and now I’m on Mounjaro.
Both are great drugs used for diabetes and weight loss.
I may go back to Ozempic because it is a bit safer than Mounjaro with less side effects.
Both of these drugs are really hard on your kidneys.
You have to drink plenty of water while taking these drugs.
less side effects
How have they been? Do you mind if I ask you how much you’ve lost?
Altogether about 27 pounds
Wow that’s great! Congrats!
Thanks! 1555544
I do the weight loss with salats, raw fruits and oats and protein powder.
I’ve gone pretty wild with some really restrictive diets. I always plateau when I hit a certain weight.
I just spoke to my bariatric doctor.
I’m stopping the Mounjaro immediately
It’s making me feel sick even at a lower dose.
Most likely I’ll restart the Ozempic in 2 weeks when I see her.
These meds are not without side effects
Hi, I was on Ozempic till it was no longer available in Australia. I wasn’t on it that long but lost about 6.kgs. Ate less because I was really scared of throwing up which is a side effect. It made me feel really uncomfortable in my stomach. I would go on it again to lose more weight as it’s the only thing that really worked for me. I am loosely doing 16/8 fasting and haven’t put the weight back on since stopping Ozempic. Mounjaro and Ozempic are not available in Australia…guess we are the Outback that’s why . Hippo
Nice job keeping it off! Why did they discontinue it in Australia?
They ran out of supply because everyone was using it for weight loss. I am diabetic so I needed it as a medication but they didn’t seem to prioritize the sick first.
My sister has, and she has lost 15 pounds in like 3 months.
When we eat together she only has normal size portions where the rest of us heap our plates full. So it does work.
I can imagine how annoying that must be.
