Ritalin and other stimulants are not going to help with psychosis and can make things a lot worse for you.

The two things I have found that work… Sarcosine as a supplement and keeping Rosemary scent around me. I even have a rosemary vapourizer in my work truck now. Damned if I know why the rosemary works, but it does.

U still have to wait for the cognitive drugs…it might take couple of year to release to us…!!
hey bro but cognitive impairment does happen with these antipshycotic medications …it will be better if we get these cognitive enhancing medicines

Certain drugs are anti-cholinergic and can effect memory long-term.
Elavil, haloperidal, seroquel, benedryl, vistaril are examples of drugs you might want to think twice about.
Lack of sleep. Makes cognitive problems worse.

I take a supplement that is a cognitive enhancer called Cognitex Basics. You can get it online.
I’m on Strattera for it, it seems to help a bit.

I do methamphetamine. It’s probably the worst thing you can possibly do with schizophrenia… not sure why I haven’t quit. Makes the paranoia much worse. I use it socially, but when I used to shoot it up it was like a living nightmare.
I’ve been getting more air headed lately. I’ll get up to do something, and I will forget what I was going to do. It might be because I have a lot on my mind.

I don’t have that. I’ve had a few moments when I’ve planned to search something online , and it’s completely slipped my mind . When you get to 60 or so it can be easy to think something untoward is going on. Tested myself at the Food for the brain site . I performed at or above the norm for my age .

I didn’t notice Risperidone Consta doing anything for my executive functioning. Ditto Paliperidone .
