Clozapine didn’t like me too much. After a week it showed it’s true colors. I hope it helps you hugs

200 MG. I drool when I sleep. I get really tired after taking it.

I take 500mg a day. It makes me drool at night.

I drool now too on 6mg Risperdal. I hope it won’t get worse and that it won’t happen when awake.

Not more than I was before. But I was on two other APs before that and am now.

It might not help you so much with negative symptoms.

My pdoc prescribed it this morning. She said its best for negative symptoms.

It did great things for my positive symptoms, but nothing for my negative.

Yea I thought that but she kept saying its better than Risperdal for negative symptoms as Risperdal blocks dopamine too much in all the brain while Clozapine doesn’t. I doubt it will improve them by much but at least it doesn’t increase prolactin and doesn’t lower my testosterone like Risperdal.

@Aziz Clozapine can be sedating so I don’t know how effective it will be for negative symptoms.

She said she doesn’t prescribe that to her patients and that it needs to be taken with 500 calories min twice a day so 1000 calories total.
