Who here is voting on Nov. 4th?

The only thing political I have to say is, “vote for your interests.”

Otherwise talk about the elections in your area and maybe consider getting the vote out. If school doesn’t hold me back, I’ll be working at the call bank with the other Democrats.

Please no fighting, this is a thread where everyone’s political opinions are respected, even if I don’t agree with them.

The only way to be heard is to put that big X where you want it…

Rocking the vote…

I’m in.

I haven’t registered yet. The most I can keep up with are presidential elections.

@SurprisedJ Welcome aboard!

@pob Present for the big moments. Great!

I chose not to sign up to vote. When it comes to voting its basically “Damned if I do, damned if I don’t”

(I apologize if thats vulgar language, I don’t quite see how in that context but just a apology in advanced incase)

I’m not easily offended.

Voting or not voting is choice we all have to make. I recommend staying away from Fox News at least. Maybe listen to National Public Radio more.

A great project for everyone is to Google Huey P. Long and his influence on Louisiana politics.

He made books free for students at public schools among other things.

They don’t make the voting experience very pleasant for a personality like my own.

Amen to that… I can NOT believe they are telling women NOT to vote…

Women fought to hard for that right… The idea of letting that hard won right just slip away… I don’t see FOX news as reflecting any of the “america” they claim to love.

@Jayster I’m sorry about that. I know I needed earmuffs the last time I voted here. It was like a town social in the room. I assumed no privacy, because I was symptomatic and it effected my vote.

@SurprisedJ They reflect 'Murica. All jokes aside though, it is really a tragedy how the people who would benefit most from not listening to them are the ones that they attract.

Anybody can “vote by home ballot” mailed in you just have to let the driver’s license bureau know you want your ballot mailed to you…I am voting for an all democratic ticket.

Yes it is. 15 characters.

Good. I’m glad you’re doing it.

I have voted in every major election since it was legal for 18 year olds to vote. I was 18 that year.

I used to think Fox News was funny, till I started to find that too many of my American friends have family and friends who take it seriously. Now it’s just scary

@Ridgerunner It’s great that you take voting seriously, some people just don’t.

@zenmind Yes, it is like the Body Snatcher’s New Network.

Yes, I am voting by mail. The ballot has been sitting on my table for more than two weeks. My goal is to fill it out this weekend. Not because I care who wins, I just want my table to be cleared of all junk, lol.

Any motivation will do.

You know I’ve rocked the vote since I was 18 and voting for Nader. It was Nader and then Independent Democrat Something of Other from then on. Until this election. We are being bombarded by negative political ads in my state every time we turn on just about any form of media. I am I have to say sick of it all.

I put in a good decade of making use of the privilege that is voting and I in someone elses words will be the observer from now on. I boycott the vote. Sorry.

Peace though.

Hmm. I’m not criticizing but voting for Nader in 2000 helped to get us 8 years of Bush.
