Anxiety over the election...sad and tense

without being political I am under a lot of stress over the election…

Honestly same. I’m afraid things may just get worse after. I’m considering leaving the country tbh.

I’m freaked too I hate to admit.

I can’t go to Canada (I don’t think) especially bc I have DWI’s.

Actually Passports and the laws of migrating seem opaque; but I’m scared.

A friend in a similar boat with the Same traffic violation once spoke of Mexico.

(This talk and fear spreading though is also a problem.).

Something that pulls me through is that people are going to remember this time, it brings out the best but also the worst in people.

I relate though. For a beacon of hope, you’ll have to turn to people who are more knowledgeable.

EDIT: the Mexico talk was during the 00’s. So there’s that.

I have gone to early vote twice. There were about 50 people in line each time. I just left. Will have to wait for Election Day I guess.

Did you vote yet @jukebox?

A lot of my stress over the election was relieved when I finally turned in my ballot.

There’s not a lot I can do, and I know that doesn’t control the outcome,

But I’ve done my part and that feels good.

You should vote becasue your american and you can. I voted even there there is no point because it doesnt count because ts all about the electroal college. So just know the country will do what it thinks is best. Like it always has done. So try not to get caught up in all the charades. Its all a show

I’m afraid that although many people will vote which is good, like last election the electoral college will just decide for us.

Yes I voted too. My folks helped me with the instructions of the mail in ballot. It was easier than it looked though and I probably could have figured it out myself. But I did my part.
