When do your hallucinations get worse?

Do your hallucinations get worse during stressful times or after? Now that stress is calming down in my life, my hallucinations are getting worse. I was okay during the stress that has been going on but now I am not okay.

If could be an after-reaction. A delayed reaction I think it’s called.

Mine get worse during, I think. My mind calms down once the stress lessens, but my mom often tells me that I still have psychotic symptoms like inappropriate emotional reactions, hysterical laughter, thought disorder, and hyperactivity. I just don’t feel those symptoms so I usually don’t know whether or not they’re happening unless someone tells me.

Just do what I do lol tell your mom you are an eccentric genius.

Usually the summer, around 2to3 o’clock in the pm. Sometimes at night it keeps me awake.

My hallucinations and delusions get worse when I’m under stress, or I haven’t had my medicine in a few days. Or when I haven’t had a lot of sleep. They seem to be worse around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

It’s interesting to have break phases… I get calm, collected, and clear-minded… then after a day or two of stress everything starts setting back in… and then I find some sort of strength against it. Like… crap it’s back… just gotta roll with more of this ■■■■.

I definitely do better when I’m left alone, alone, alone… with nothing but free time…

Mine definitely get worse during times of stress and also when I’m not sleeping well. But that’s the case for all of my positive symptoms. It’s weird, tho, that when stress is extremely high, like when my truck got stolen 2 months ago, they actually lay off and I can perform better to solve the crisis for a short period of time. It’s like adrenaline causes them to lessen for a bit.
