So sorry @Twialine.
@TheFallenSun yeah… I have thyroid problems along with schizoaffective disorder and diabetes runs in my blood on both my mom and my father family that’s one reason I’m trying to cut out sugar and lose weight so hard… It’s more than just good looks I want… It’s all hard to deal with and I feel bad about having my first born…
@eighteyedspy23 it’s okay
Wait so do you have a kid already?
@TheFallenSun yeah but she got taken by child protective services and adopted by her foster mother… It’s a long story of what all happened
Ah I’m sorry
That sounds horrible, I’m sorry for your loss…
Don’t feel too bad about not being able to have kids… it is admirable of you to decide not to have children. I’m glad your husband is on your side of deciding it might not be the best idea.
@TheFallenSun it’s okay… It was pretty rough
I’m glad too… He’s been very open about having or not having kids… He honestly don’t care either way
Aw sounds like a keeper!
@TheFallenSun he sure is
I never got around to having kids. Now I am 62, and it is too late. I probably missed out by not having kids, but there are benefits to not having them. They take a LOT of work.
Maybe just be crushed for awhile and then eventually you can find some other calling in life to devote all your energies to. I realize it’s going to be hard to get over the fact you won’t have kids. And hard to accept. But if you like kids so much maybe you can volunteer at a pre-school or day care center. Or maybe the children’s ward at your local hospital. Or start your own day care business or a baby sitting service.
I’m sorry you have ruled yourself out for having children. I, myself, have also made that decision, but i never wanted children anyway, so it isn’t a loss to me like it is to you. Do you have a psychologist you see? You may be able to talk about this if you do have one.
