I’m thinking of freezing my eggs. I want to have child in future but not now. What you doing? I have injection today.

Freezing eggs works great.
I have 4 kids. 3 adults and one 16 year old
Tomorrow I have to go pick up my groceries.
I need to gather the garbage soon because tomorrow morning is garbage pickup.

I had my first when I was 29 and my last when I was 35.

Cool. I’m 35 now. I’m 36 in July. I want to do a course in illustrations for 3 years then start having kids. I’d like 5 but don’t know if I have time.

They are great but lots of work when they are young. Teenage years are awesome. My two oldest are on their own. I miss them a lot. Especially with the quarantine.

Oh that’s sad you miss them. I’m sure you’ll see them as soon as lockdown is over. Do you have schizophrenia. How does it effect you?

I have schizoaffective bipolar type. I get delusions and paranoia but much less with meds. Occasionally I get mania which is awful and lately struggling with depression. I have ocd tendencies which are a pain. I also have lost desire to do much. And I’ve gained a ton of weight.

Did you become schizophrenic after having children or before?

I had it before but undiagnosed until after. I believe I had it since i was a young adult but was diagnosed with major depression back then.

Did it make it harder to raise kids?

In some ways. Mostly because I had terrible post partum depression. But I took good care of them.

my mum made a huge sacrifice by having many kids. I am grateful for it she suffers a lot nowadays
