I got my degree in sociology. Now I’m going back to school for nursing.
Cool. Nursing is a good honest job and I heard years ago there’s soon going to be a high demand for them @radmedtech is a nurse I believe or something related. But I know he likes his job.
I have an oxymoronic degree of Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. Started in my prodrome and finished it in recovery.
B.A. in Creative Writing from University of Iowa.
That’s a famous writer’s school, isn’t it?
Yeah it was the first workshop in the nation and still considered one of the best.
I have a bachelors in accounting. It is a miracle as I finished it in psychosis.
Nursing is a hot field. And there’s a great deal of opportunity for advancement into management and administration (where the REAL money is made lol). Also, all US states now permit nurses holding a Master of Science in Nursing to become licensed to diagnose and prescribe. These nurses are known as Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
There’s ALWAYS a strong demand for psych nurses, by the way, on all levels. And I find it’s the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had.
Be Blessed,
Anthony
What’s a “tea sipper” and can I use it in a story maybe?
You guys and just coming up with all sorts of great lines and phrases. That’s one of my favorite things about this place.
I guess google it to see if Californians are still called tea sippers? I heard them called that a long time ago and thought it was funny. I might be wrong.
I was studying Russian and Russian literature. I was beginning to get sick because I didn’t make any friends there except for some guy who was at Tufts so I can’t tell you anyone else’s majors. Some guy who was studying Law used to hang around our room. He was much too bright to be studying anything.
smoking marijaunna, clubbing and doing various nafarious drugs in copious amounts
I have to say here - I was really walking in the woods + fields with the dogs and writing poems + making things in my room, instead of going to many classes. Preparation for my future
That sounds exciting. I’m probably just going to join AmeriCorps and do volunteer work to improve my resume and gain experience. I want to volunteer because it helps the economy grow without burdening others. I think that if some people assume the dollar is lessening in value should evaluate how they spend their currency and what they are investing in. Capitalism with conscience makes sense. For now, I’m just learning on my own and watching Khan Academy videos. I really can’t stand not feeling successful at something. I know I don’t have to be a brainiac to succeed, but I think Business is where I should invest my time. For my business to succeed I also need to study economics and how to invest in the proper currency of our times. Currently, they don’t use a gold standard but are considering the gold standard which would give some sort of symbolic value and grow our assets. We should be viewing our country as a humanitarian and not attack innocent civilians whether at the homeland or abroad, unless they are holding hostages or if they are committing what Amnesty and U.N. consider human rights violations, and I definitely think the U.S. and U.N. should agree to get alone and the U.S. should participate in the U.N. also I think that Congress should be given the authority not to rubber stamp people or their private information who have been living relatively peaceful and have no criminal records of significance. I think that Russia should get its priorities aligned with its own future, and not bow to China and China should let its people free their spirits from the chain of bondage to history. I think that Cuba should be allowed to defend itself and that we should defend Cuba. I also think that racism is evil and cruel, and a result of a mass sickness of political pollution over centuries of disruption, for although they encourage humanity to act swiftly the blade wielded in war yielded the blood painted on your doors.
