I have a Bachelor in Business Administration concentrating in Health Care Administration. Graduated December 1991.
Went psychotic but managed to finish it. Never used it though. All my jobs were things I could have gotten with a high school diploma, and I only lasted more than a year at one of them. Most of them far less. Got hospitalized in September 1993 and that pretty much clinched that I am too mentally ill to work, but that didn’t stop me trying until January 2015. Lots of disability leaves and breaks in employment.
I had a half academic scholarship (I have DID and one of my alters did school). I spent about $25,000 out of my trust account after I graduated on a psychiatrist who was self pay only.
I was getting close to finishing Medical Billing & Coding, but then I ended up in the hospital and was not able to study anymore. I could no longer focus or retain all the information that I was supposed to be learning.
I have a bachelor of science in environmental design…it’s the four year architecture degree…had to…low overall gpa.
I took graphic design while in college, 2 years back to back with no break in between. I used my degree for about 7 years working in the field, then broke my neck. The rest is history LOL
I first went for welding in my early 20s. Broke down after a semester.
In my late 20s I went for social work. After my first semester COVID hit and my psychotic break happened at the same time. Took incompletes on my 2nd semester and haven’t returned.
