What kind of books do you read?

I like novels like Stephen king but it’s really hard to get into novels. I like reading about the true crime, biographys of rock stars. I’m 120 pages into pet semetary wicked book so far. I like Dean koontz novels aswell. Any good books or authors you suggest?

I have a hard time reading, but when I can a true story is the best

I like stuff like Kurt Vonnegut in fiction. Then I like guys like Carlos Castenada and Hunter S. Thompson. Then in spirituality and philosophy I like Alan Watts and Osho.

I also like a lot of non-fiction, investigative journalism stories. I’ve named pretty much all my favorite authors, those are the 5 guys I’ve read multiple books of. The rest I’ve read 1 or less book of.

I go through phases of reading, right now I’m not reading much at all.

My tastes are eclectic: fantasy, sci-fi, history, romance, war. I also read manga.

But with my illness and all, I tend to read much less than before. I should reverse the trend.

I prefer non-fiction, history, and classic literature (basically anything written before the 80’s).

Take care :v:

Stephen King, L.E. Modesitt Jr… Larry Niven, Rex Stout…

I like Mary roach. She has interesting books.

Oh I like her too. When I graduated I got in contact and she gave me some tips for breaking into non fiction writing. She’s v cool…

I read a lot of literary stuff. I was reading “The Brothers Karamazov” but I put it down for a while. I’ve read it before. Every once in a while I will read a slasher. I like John Grisham. I also like human interest stories about weird people and strange situations.

Me too. I got it free from the book basket at the library. I have got quite a number of books for free there including my favorite; The Second Sex by Simone de Beavoir.

Whoa! Very cool. We have a bookstore at my library. They sale used and great classics for around 2-3 dollars. I picked up Tropic of Cancer and Lolita the other day.
