I have a lot of weird symptoms. Some of them are so weird they make me unsure if I really have schizophrenia, rather than being the victim of a strange psychic experience.
What is your weirdest symptom?
My weirdest is that I go through periods of what I consider “mind-■■■■■■■.” These periods usually last for 2-3 hours. I’ll suddenly start feeling really weird, wired, uncomfortable, and jittery, and I’ll start experiencing strange physical symptoms like my teeth chattering uncontrollably. Then, I’ll be assaulted by images and voices. They get really complex and tricky–I don’t know how to really describe it, unfortunately. My brain will also feel like it’s being edited, blocked, and messed up.
Another weird symptom I experience is my soul changing. It’s like my energy will suddenly shift. I just perceive things differently and sense new, altered energies surrounding objects and people. Sometimes I feel energy/emotion suddenly leak out of my body in a flood.
Well I don’t experience Sz symptoms anymore but when I did my weirdest symptoms were feeling as if my head was clamped in a vice…but by far the weirdest was when I was laying in bed in rehab one night and re-experienced something from my imagined past…I had a delusional memory in which I was repeatedly forced to inhale a chemical that was supposed to burn certain synapses and render me passive…I re-experienced this that night and I could smell the chemical and feel it burning my brain…this didn’t help me in recovering from my delusions at all…how could it be false if I remembered it and could feel it happening all over again? Ahhhh…I’m all better now though…all good.
For me I think it’s the tactile hallucinations. I seem to be a bit rare in that some of the are pleasurable and nice.
I’ve not been too happy about the depersonalization… the floating out of my body and being a mute bystander to my own actions. I really hate the feeling.
well, you and I have pretty similar experiences. sI also find I can manipulate energy and aura better while experiencing psychosis. I also find I can see the otherworld like they are solid beings. Their world is a little higher set than ours. I see the floor in that world, people (Ghosts) walking on them… It’s all kinda weird, I’m still trying to get used to it XD
My weirdest symptom would have to be my sense of humor. I think the wrong thing are funny, apparently.

Probably how I react to certain things. Things that are not funny whatsoever I’ll burst out laughing too.
Also. There was this time I was absolutely convinced there were worms behind my eyes. Weird I guess.

If I picture a hole in my head and breathe in I can feel wind coming in through the hole. It also works with my hands and feet or anywhere really. It is really cool and weird.
