What do we really deserve

We all have life experience. It’s the bottom line. Do we all want attention for it? Personally, the majority of the time I don’t need a lot of attention. But it just irked (for want of a better word) me earlier tonight when I walked out of the house to go out to the store and my new roommates laughed at me. Not a really mean or nasty laugh.

But my take on it was that I was acting like my old self before I got sick. I used to think I was a little tough when I was young. Maybe even after I got sick. I’ve done a lot of physical things in my life. I’ve played sports, including LOTS of tackle football. I unloaded heavy merchandise off 52 foot trucks for four years. I’ve done my share of labor jobs. But I was feeling my oats and to be laughed at for it got under my skin.

I realized that I’m so worried about being social and getting along with people that I forgot my roots. It just bugged the hell out of me. Now it’s back to the drawing board. I just had to vent.

Ah, some more good words of wisdom from the sith. Thanks. I just got back from a packed supermarket. I thought everybody was bugging me. Now that I’m home I realize half those people were probably innocent and friendly. I’m inventing problems where there are none. Have a happy Gopher Day.

I often have the same problem, today I thought that some of my co-workers were being sarcastic about me and MAN!!! I was seriously thinking about getting violent .

I didn’t though because that might be bad for me and definitely worse for them.

A day in the life of a respectable human is nothing but trials.

Violence at the workplace is generally a bad idea. It’s a good way to get fired. And jobs for us are hard to come by. Keep that in mind.

I agree .

To address the OP? I think that we get what we deserve.

And it doesn’t matter how much money that you pay someone to tell you different.

When it counts ?..we all get what we deserve. …come on! Thats just practical thinking.

Will you explain the new roommate situation? I missed out on the change. I always thought you lived alone.

The worst part of it is that you weren’t even sure they were really being sarcastic. You could have lost your temper, gotten violent, gotten fired, and it might have been over nothing and you would be out of a job.

Exactly man!

By nature we are irrational and not just sz but humans in general.

I moved from my old place into a new home. I’m now renting a room in this couples house. I was not doing good living alone at my old place and I was not getting along with certain neighbors and it had been going on for years.

I knew that about your neighbors. Congratulations on having the courage to make the change. Are you happier now or is it to soon to tell? You deserve all your heart can hold.

Thanks, so far so good with the people I live with. But I’m super-stressed running around taking care of all the new business a move requires. Today, I went to the store near my new house and turned in all my pennies into a Coinstar machine ( a machine that you pour your coins into and it automatically counts them and gives you what they’re worth) I got $41.00! Then I went shopping for food.

Yeah, she’s fine until she starts to talk.
