Weight gain

Has anyone else struggled with the weight gain of medications? I’ve gained 25 lbs since starting meds early this year. I’ve been able to lose weight in the past but this is a lot harder.

Yeah, I used to weight around 65kg on average. Now it’s 20kg more. It’s a crap situation, but I don’t ever stop meds to control it so I’m left with no choice but to accept it for now.

I’ve tired gym and running, something I’ll try again (running) but avolition usually makes me stop doing it. Idk, lately I feel like I’m getting better with my negatives but exercise is something I don’t enjoy anymore so it becomes tough to keep it up for more than a few weeks

I have 30 kilos plus. I feel very sad. I can’t fight with this illnes anymore. Its so stressful. I m always sleeping. I have no obligations and this is so hard. Can you imagine I’m fat like orangutan.

I can tell you that I’ll scratched the 100 kilo mark.

My normal weight was 72,5 kilos.

Now 62,5.

Unfortunately, weight gain is a side effect of APs.

Living a healthy lifestyle and eating properly can help maintain your weight.

There are also some APs that have very little weight gain. Latuda, for example.

Hope this helps.

You must be tiny now! I am short and not fat but i am 71 kg…

there are meds 4 losing weight I’m gonna try them

I’m not very long 2
